Learn the basics of kayaking in this comprehensive three-hour class. Taught by our experienced kayaking instructors, our Intro to Kayaking course gives first-time paddlers the fundamental skills and knowledge to paddle in protected waters within a group. Basic and intermediate paddling skills, rescue techniques, and water safety are some of the topics covered. Come ready to get wet. PFDs and paddles will be provided.

Program runs on select Saturday mornings from 9:00 AM-12:30 PM. No experience is necessary! Participants do not need to know how to swim, but MUST wear the supplied life jackets. Sessions take place at Creekside Community Centre at 1 Athletes Way.

Groups of 5 or more may request a private session; please email info@dragonboatbc.ca for additional assistance.

Please note: 5% GST will be added to fees. Please note that registrations for individual programs are subject to a 25% administration fee if refunded within 30 days of the original registration date. No refunds will be issued after this time for any reason including if the event or program is adjusted, postponed, or cancelled.
